HSB Södertörn is an idealistic and member-owned organization. It is one of 23 regional associations in Sweden. They operate in Huddinge, Botkyrka, Nynäshamn, and on the island of Gotland. HSB Södertörn has nearly 23,000 members, and their property management covers 14,300 apartments. They build housing and offer qualified property management services in all municipalities. Approximately 100 curious and service-oriented people work at HSB Södertörn.

We at Asta Agency are collaborating with HSB Södertörn in this recruitment process. The process is handled by Asta Agency, and you will be employed directly by HSB Södertörn.

As Business Manager for Projects at HSB Södertörn, you will play a key role in leading, developing, and coordinating the project business area. The role combines managerial responsibilities with personal project management duties, meaning you lead through presence and contribute operationally to customer-facing projects. You report to the Business Area Manager for Property Development and become part of the leadership team where collaboration, development, and common working methods are in focus.

You are responsible for operations, results, employees, customer satisfaction, and the development of working methods within the project area. The team consists of experienced and self-reliant project managers who drive projects primarily for housing cooperatives. In this role, it is important to build trust, foster team spirit, and contribute to a more unified delivery, while also monitoring the external environment and driving improvements related to new working methods, regulations, and digitalization. Approximately half of the role consists of personal project management duties, where you drive projects from sales and feasibility studies to design, procurement, execution, and handover.

We are looking for you who are a confident and clear leader with a strong background in project management within construction, property, or a related field. You thrive in leading senior specialists and have the ability to create direction without micromanaging. As a person, you are perceptive, communicative, and unpretentious, with a good feel for both people, business, and change. You have a genuine interest in improvement, efficiency, and collaboration, and you understand the importance of bringing others along through clarity, dialogue, and trust. Additionally, you have:

• Relevant education in construction, property, project management, leadership, or equivalent experience.

• Experience leading projects in construction, ROT (Renovation, Repair, and Maintenance), property development, or similar areas.

• Good understanding of economics, budgeting, forecasting, and result responsibility.

• Experience in customer-facing work and business dialogues.

• Experience in procurement, contractors, and consultant collaboration.

• Good understanding of contracting law and relevant regulations.

• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

• Valid driver's license (Category B).

Meritorious experience:

• Experience in personnel management.

• Education in leadership or occupational health and safety.

• Experience working with housing cooperatives.

• Experience in change management, digitalization, or development of common working methods.

• Experience in energy efficiency, sustainability issues, or technical property projects.
